Police search for missing Barnsley woman

Police are searching for a woman who has been missing from her Barnsley home for more than a week.

Sally Eland, 55, was reported missing on 27 January after she disappeared from her home in Cudworth at around 0730 GMT.

Police have since discovered she was dropped off at Sheffield train station at around 1030 GMT on 28 January.

Anyone who may have spotted Ms Eland is asked to contact police.

She was last seen wearing black trousers, a light beige long-sleeved cardigan, a black mid-length coat with tassels and gold beading, a red scarf and brown ankle suede boots.

She is also believed to be carrying a black, leather-look, shoulder bag.
