Abdulla Awil Mohamed murder in Sheffield: four charged

Four men have appeared in court charged with the murder of an 18-year-old who was knocked down by a car in Sheffield.

Abdulla Awil Mohamed, from the Burngreave area of the city, died after he was hit by the car on Coleridge Road in Darnall on Thursday night.

Three 19-year-olds and a 20-year-old, all from Sheffield, were charged on Sunday and have appeared before Sheffield magistrates.

They were remanded in custody to appear at the city's crown court on 28 May.

The four accused of murder are Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 19, of Swarcliffe Road, Darnall; Muhibur Rahman Jahangir, 19, of Flaxby Road, Darnall; Aminur Mohammed Rahman, 20, of Jubilee Road, Darnall and Nizamul Hoque, 19, of Willow Drive, Handsworth.
