Man shot in 'targeted attack' at Sheffield pub

A man was shot in a pub in South Yorkshire in what police have described as a "targeted" attack.

Police said they received reports of shots being fired at the White Swan pub on Greenhill Main Road, Sheffield, at about 2100 BST on Saturday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said when officers arrived they found a 25-year-old man with gunshot injuries.

He was taken to to hospital where is condition is stable. Police have appealed for witnesses.
