Rotherham council asks for comments on future planning
People in Rotherham have been asked to comment on individual development sites for the first time.
A number of plans for a 15-year development framework for the area have been drawn up, and the council is seeking the opinions of residents.
Plans include a reduction in the number of new homes built and less green belt land released for development.
The consultation period begins on Monday and will last until 16 September.
The council said the the consultation would allow it to "make the best choices for local areas".
Documents can be viewed online, at public buildings and at drop-in sessions.
