Sheffield Graves Park funfair: Six children arrested
Six children have been arrested after fighting broke out at a family funfair in Sheffield, police have said.
Officers were called to Graves Park in the Norton Lees area of the city at about 21:00 BST on Friday, shortly before the park was due to close.
The disturbance involved a large group of young people and six children aged between 12 and 14 were arrested for public order offences.
All of them were later released on bail, South Yorkshire Police said.
She said the trouble flared during a "half-price night" in which all rides cost only 99p, attracting large numbers of youngsters.
The event was described on the Graves Park website as "a huge international funfair", which was being staged as part of its Super Summer Weekend.
