Fire officers are investigating a fire near the former Earth Centre in Doncaster.

Firefighters were called to a disused building adjacent to the Earth Centre site at about 17:45 GMT on Sunday.

No-one was injured in the fire, thought to have been started deliberately.

Re-development work at the nearby Earth Centre site began last week and developers said the fire would not affect plans to open a new children's activity centre there in March 2012.
