Doncaster woman 'seriously hurt' in three-vehicle collision
A 66-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after her car collided with two other vehicles outside a school in South Yorkshire.
It is believed the woman fell ill at the wheel when she crashed into a black vehicle travelling in the opposite direction before hitting another car parked outside a school.
The accident took place at 15:45 GMT on Thursday in Norton, Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police said the woman was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Officers said she was transferred to Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital several hours later where she underwent surgery. She is now in a "serious but stable" condition.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
