CCTV images have been released of potential witnesses to the fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old girl in a Doncaster park.

Casey-Lyanne Kearney was killed in Elmfield Park at about 13:18 GMT on 14 February.

Hannah Bonser, 26, has been charged with her murder.

South Yorkshire Police want to speak to a man, a woman and two teenagers who were seen in or around the park at the time of the attack.

Court appearance

Police said the man and woman were seen walking from the direction of the Salutation Pub towards Elmfield Park.

They had previously walked towards town from the direction of the park at about 12:00 GMT.

The man is white, about 6ft tall, with brown, unkempt hair and thought to be in his early 20s.

He was with an older woman, who is white, 5ft 2in tall, of slim build, with either grey or blonde straight hair.

She was wearing a black, knee-length padded coat, black trousers and black boots.

Police believe she could be related to the man.

The teenagers, a boy and girl, were sitting on a bench on the left hand side path in the park.

Police said they were also seeking three other women who were there on the same day.

Ms Bonser is also charged with two counts of possession of a bladed article.

She is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 10 May.
