Barnsley's Worsbrough Country Park wins accreditation

A South Yorkshire country park described as a "hidden gem" has been accredited by Natural England.

Richard Moss, manager of Worsbrough Country Park, said it demonstrated the park had good signage and facilities and recognised its community work.

Natural England said the park "improved" people's quality of life.

The voluntary accreditation scheme was launched in 2009 so that any site with "country park" in its title could show it met certain standards.
