Wath girl, one, now stable after fatal crash
A one-year-old girl who was badly hurt in a fatal car accident has been described as "stable" by officials at Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Luke Hardwick, 18, from Swinton, died of his injuries following the crash on the A638 Great North Road at Redhouse, Doncaster, on Thursday 20 December.
The child, from Wath, had previously been described as "critical".
A 31-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed.
The car was performing a U-turn when it collided with a lorry, police said.
