Child neglect arrests after missing Doncaster baby found

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a baby went missing from a hospital.

The four-week-old boy and his parents were reported missing by Doncaster Royal Infirmary on Wednesday evening.

All three were later found safe and well by police at an address in Bentley on Thursday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said a man, 38, and woman, 32, had been arrested. The baby was unharmed and was returned to hospital.

He added that the boy was now "the subject of a police protection order while police enquiries continue".
