Rotherham body find not suspicious, police say

The death of a man in Rotherham is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The body of a man believed to be in his 50s was found on Hollowgate at around 07:30 GMT on 2 January.

A post-mortem examination revealed the man had suffered head, chest, and abdominal injuries.

South Yorkshire Police said that following further enquiries it was now believed that no-one else was involved in the man's death.
