South Yorkshire police officer guilty of drink-driving
A police officer has been banned for driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
PC Adam Walker, a serving traffic officer with South Yorkshire Police, was stopped on 27 December, while driving to work in Sheffield.
The 33-year-old was also fined £475 and told to pay £85 costs and a £47 victim surcharge by magistrates in Sheffield.
South Yorkshire Police said PC Walker had been suspended from duty and a misconduct hearing would be held.
