Part of the M1 in Sheffield is to be closed overnight as maintenance work is carried out on the Tinsley Viaduct.

Work on the two-tier bridge, which carries the M1 over the A631, will mean the closure of both carriageways at junction 34.

The Highways Agency said the work is expected to be completed by 14 March and warned of some delays.

It said the work should reduce the need for emergency repairs and lane closures in future.
