Man arrested over woman's death in Doncaster

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body in Doncaster.

The 49-year-old was found on Wednesday night, along with a 51-year-old unconscious man, at a property in Thorne Road, Blaxton.

Police said the man was later arrested on suspicion of murder and had been taken to hospital where he is in a critical but stable condition.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

South Yorkshire Police said they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the death.
