Six children escape Doncaster arson attack

Six children have escaped without injury from a South Yorkshire house hit by an arson attack.

The fire at a house in Acacia Grove, in Skellow, near Doncaster, was reported to police at about 20:25 GMT on Sunday.

The children are thought to be aged between five and 15. Nobody was hurt.

South Yorkshire Police said two boys, aged 14 and 15, and a 19-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and are being questioned by officers in Doncaster.

The police have asked anyone with information on the fire to contact them.
