Daniel Aistrop named as man who died when hit by car

A 32-year-old man who died after he was hit by a car in Doncaster has been named as Daniel Aistrop.

Mr Aistrop was walking in Trafford Way, near West Street, on Sunday afternoon when he was hit by an Audi A5, South Yorkshire Police said.

He was taken to hospital but later died.

A 19-year-old man, who was driving the Audi, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail.
