Rotherham police officer charged with misconduct
A police officer has been charged with misconduct in a public office following an internal investigation.
Rotherham PC Lee Lucas, 38, will appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on 24 June. He has been suspended from his duties.
South Yorkshire Police said the charge related to "contact with members of the public".
It follows an inquiry by the force's Professional Standards Department, supervised by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
