Mohammed Khalil stabbing: Sheffield man on murder charge

A man has been charged with the murder of Mohammed Khalil, who died after being stabbed repeatedly.

Mr Khalil, 42, was found with serious injuries at his home in Greenland Drive, Darnall, on Tuesday. He died later in hospital.

South Yorkshire Police said 26-year-old Connor O'Brien, of Jubilee Road, Sheffield, had been charged with his murder.

Mr O'Brien was due to appear before magistrates on Friday.

Two men, both aged 20, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday remain in police custody.

A 40-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Wednesday has been released on bail.
