More than 100 Barnsley College staff strike over pay
More than 100 staff at Barnsley College have begun a two-day strike over new contracts.
Employees are facing lower pay and fewer holidays, the University and College Union claims.
Union official Lee Short said the move would hit future generations and was "selling further education down the river".
Barnsley College said the contract changes were an improvement for staff and the site would be open as normal.
The college has almost 8,000 full and part-time students and offers a range of courses including teacher training and apprenticeships.
