Anayat Bibi murder: Partner jailed for life

A man has been jailed for life for the fatal stabbing of his partner at their home in Sheffield.

Anayat Bibi's body was discovered at a house in Vickers Road, Firth Park, on 10 August. The 39-year-old had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Mazhar Nawab, 43, of Vickers Road, admitted killing her at a previous hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.

Nawab was told he must serve at least 18 years in prison before being considered for parole.
