A woman stabbed to death at her home in Sheffield has been identified.

Leigh-Anne Mahachi, 22, was discovered at a property in Spotswood Close, in Gleadless Valley, on Tuesday, but died later in hospital.

A post-mortem examination found she died from multiple stab wounds. South Yorkshire Police described her death as a "targeted attack".

A 37-year-old man from Colchester, Essex, arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, remains in police custody.
