Sheffield woman Fatimah Peer-Mohamed charged with terror offences

A woman has been charged with two offences of disseminating terrorist publications.

Fatimah Peer-Mohamed, 22, from Sheffield, was arrested in May 2015 by officers from the North East Counter Terrorism Unit (NECTU).

Officers said the arrest followed an intelligence-led inquiry. The charges relate to "activity and posts made online," they added.

She is due to appear before Westminster magistrates on 15 September.
