Forensic searches are taking place at the home of a woman missing for more than two weeks.

Sylwia Ciapcinska, 24, was last seen on 20 July in Ash Street, Burton-upon-Trent, where she lived.

Police distributed leaflets to members of the Polish community at the Polish service at St Mary's and St Modwen's church on Sunday.

Thomasz Sobczak, 29, of Ash Street, has been charged with her murder and will appear in court on 8 October.

Ms Ciapcinska is believed to be dead although her body has not been found.

Police said the last sighting of her was in the Octagon shopping centre in Burton on Tuesday, 20 July, shortly before 1230 BST.

Detectives also want to find her black suitcase and flowered pumps, which are missing from her house, and her Nokia flip-style mobile phone.
