Burslem buildings get £1.2m EU grant
A fund to renovate historic buildings in Burslem has been given £1.2m by a European Union scheme.
The Burslem Building Improvement Scheme has been awarded the cash from the European Regional Development Fund.
The vacant and semi-derelict Victorian property Wycliffe Hall may benefit with plans for it to become a regional climbing centre, the city council said.
The improvement scheme is purposed to offer grants to property owners to restore heritage buildings.
