More than 3,000 sign petition over Stoke-on-Trent park
More than 3,000 people have signed a petition calling for a council to take better care of a Stoke-on-Trent park.
Philippa Brown, who collected the names, said syringes and broken glass had made Hanley's Central Forest Park "an embarrassment to the city".
Ms Brown, of Northwood, has accused the city council of neglecting the park.
The authority said it carried out regular maintenance including litter picking, and has acknowledged receipt of the petition.
