Man stabbed in Tunstall: Four arrested

Four people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.

A 33-year-old man was stabbed in King William Street in the city's Tunstall area at about 2100 BST on Tuesday.

Staffordshire Police said the man was being treated at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and was in a stable condition.

Two men, aged 40 and 28, and two women, aged 36 and 20, are being held in custody for questioning.

Staffordshire Police said reassurance patrols were being carried out on Wednesday.

A force spokesman added: "This incident involved people known to each other, four of whom have been arrested."
