Woman injured by cow in Staffordshire field
A woman has been flown to hospital after being injured by a cow in a field in Staffordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Warslow shortly before 1530 BST on Wednesday.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "It's believed the woman, who is in her fifties, is from Norfolk and was on holiday with her husband walking their dog when this happened."
He said the woman suffered a chest injury and was taken to hospital.
He added that the woman's husband was unable to get a mobile phone signal and was forced to go to nearby houses to raise the alarm.
The woman was given pain relief at the scene and flown to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
