Man, 40, charged after stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been charged after a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.

A 33-year-old man was stable in hospital after being stabbed in King William Street in the city's Tunstall area on Tuesday night.

A 40-year-old charged with wounding with intent was due at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Fenton on Thursday.

A 28-year-old man and two women aged 36 and 20 who were arrested have been released without charge.
