Girl bailed over Tean heroin and crack haul

A fourth person arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs valued at £200,000 at a house in Staffordshire has been released on bail.

The 17-year-old girl, from the Trentham area, was held after a raid by Staffordshire Police in Cheadle Road in Tean on Monday.

She has been bailed, pending further inquiries, to a date in September.

She was arrested on Wednesday morning on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Two men, charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine, appeared before magistrates on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old from Birmingham and 24-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent were remanded into custody and are due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court next Monday.

A third man arrested in the raid, aged 27 and from Tean, has been released on police bail, pending further inquiries, to a date in September.
