Stoke-on-Trent shooting: Two men charged
Two men have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after two people from Stoke-on-Trent received pellet wounds.
The men charged, aged 21 and 25, who are from the city, were also charged with firearms offences.
Staffordshire Police said they would remain in custody until they appear before magistrates on Monday.
Three other men who were arrested over the incident on 19 August have been released without charge.
Police were called to Wise Street, in Dresden, in the city at 00:15 BST on 19 August after reports of a disturbance.
Two men, aged 25 and 23, had minor pellet wounds and were taken to University Hospital of North Staffordshire before being discharged.
Officers recovered two cars in connection with the incident, which they said would be subject to a detailed forensic examination.
