Remembrance Day plea for player to sound the Last Post
A council in Staffordshire is appealing for a bugle or trumpet player to take part in this year's Remembrance Day parade and church service.
Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council said they would need to be familiar with the Last Post and Reveille which are traditionally played.
The service on Sunday 13 November is at the Parish Church of St Giles.
It will be followed by an act of remembrance and wreath-laying ceremony at the town's war memorial.
The borough council has asked anyone interested in volunteering to contact Peter Whalen, senior member services officer and mayor's secretary, on 01782 742226.
