Officers from Staffordshire Police executed warrants at nine addresses in the Silverdale and Parksite areas of Newcastle and the Fenton area of Stoke on Trent on Wednesday.

The men, two aged 17, a 44-year-old and another of 46 are being questioned.

The arrests were the result of a police operation after a number of recent burglaries at student accommodation.
