Man with broken jaw held after Stoke-on-Trent assault

A 45-year-old man who suffered a broken jaw in a fight in Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested.

Police were called to Furlong Road at about 22:30 BST on Friday following a report of a fight. A boy aged 15 had a head injury and was taken to hospital.

The 45-year-old man, who was discharged from hospital on Sunday, has been bailed pending further inquiries to a date later this month.

The boy was discharged a short time after arriving at hospital.
