Pedestrian named in Stoke-on-Trent crane accident

A pedestrian who died after an accident involving a mobile crane in Stoke-on-Trent has been named by police.

Jack Link, 72, from Laburnum Grove, Blurton, died at the scene of the incident at Heron Cross roundabout, off the A50 slip road in Fenton on Friday.

Police said an investigation into the death of Mr Link, a grandfather of three, was continuing.

His family said the former plumber would be sadly missed.
