Clothing taken from two charity banks in Shropshire

Two charity clothing banks have been targeted by thieves in Telford.

West Mercia Police said the locks on the containers in Wellington and Donnington had been broken and the clothes inside taken.

The force said in total about 283 stone (1800kg) of clothing was taken with an estimated value of about £400.

Police said the thefts happened sometime between 22:30 BST on 27 October and 22:30 GMT on 30 October at the Salvation Army clothing banks.

The containers were sited at Morrisons supermarket in Wellington and Asda in Donnington.
