New £10m leisure centre to open in Newcastle-under-Lyme
A £10m leisure centre in Staffordshire opens later.
The facilities at Jubilee 2 in Newcastle-under-Lyme include two swimming pools, a climbing wall and a children's activity zone.
It will open initially for existing members before opening to the general public in January.
Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council said the new "flagship project" in Brunswick Street had been built "on time and on budget".
Leader of the council, Stephen Sweeny, said: "It is a marvellous achievement, particularly in this economic climate, to be able to provide the residents of the borough with such a first class centre.
Knutton Recreation Centre and the old Jubilee pool closed on Friday.
