Man in hospital after Hereford stabbing

A man is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed in Herefordshire.

Police cordoned off Friars Street in Hereford after the man was found collapsed there at about 22:45 GMT on Wednesday.

The man, aged in his early 30s, was taken to hospital with injuries to his stomach, police said.

Officers said they wanted to trace a man seen walking away from the scene at around the time the incident occurred.
