Dead man involved in Stoke-on-Trent fight 'was not murdered'
A man who died after being involved in an altercation was not murdered, police say.
The 43-year-old was believed to have been involved in a fight with a number of other men at Meaford Drive, in Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday.
He was confirmed dead in hospital on Monday. Two males, aged 20 and 16, arrested over the death have been released on bail.
More tests will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
A police spokesman said: "A post-mortem examination revealed that the minor injuries sustained by the man during the altercation were insufficient to have caused, or contributed, to his death."
