Wardle Transport to cut nine bus routes in Stoke-on-Trent

Nine bus services are to be scrapped in Stoke-on-Trent.

Wardle Transport said the move comes after revising some routes following a re-tendering exercise by the city council.

Three services between Meir and Kidsgrove, Hanley and Wedgwood Farm and Longton and Goms Mill will stop from Sunday, the firm added.

The remaining six services will be served by buses on nearby routes which have been extended.

Six other services will now be run by other operators.
