Burslem terrorism offences suspect arrested

A Stoke-on-Trent man has been arrested by counter-terror police in Bradford.

The 26-year-old man from Burslem, was arrested in Undercliffe by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit, police said.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

Officers also seized computer and other electronic equipment for forensic analysis.

It followed the search of the man's home address and another domestic property in the Undercliffe area of Bradford, a police spokesman said.
