Three adults were hurt in the crash, also involving a car, at about 08:30 BST on Foxes Lane, Codsall Wood.

A teenage boy was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital with leg and pelvic injuries, the other three were taken to New Cross Hospital by land ambulance.

Both drivers and a car passenger needed hospital treatment. The bus was on its way to Codsall Community High School.

An investigation into the crash is under way.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening, a West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said.

Head teacher of Codsall Community High School, Marjorie Tunnicliffe, said: "Our immediate priority is to support those involved and their families and I would like to thank everyone for their help at the scene of the accident this morning."
