Two arrested over Hanley Beaverbrooks jewellery raid
Two people have been arrested over an armed robbery at a Stoke-on-Trent jewellers.
Staffordshire Police said they were questioning a 24-year-old man, from Manchester, about the robbery at Beaverbrooks in the Potteries Centre in Hanley on 17 November.
More than £500,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen in the raid.
A 21-year-old woman, also from Manchester, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, police said.
The force said a number of high value watches were seized by officers during a property search.
A man and woman were jailed for their roles in the robbery on Wednesday.
