Man charged after double-fatal crash in Stoke-on-Trent
A man has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving following a 2015 Stoke-on-Trent crash.
James Tatton, 24, of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, was the driver of a Vauxhall Vectra involved in a collision with a lorry on the A500 on 22 August.
Car passengers Sean Longstaff, 22, of Woodhouse Street in the city, and Marcus Smith, 22, of Yarnfield, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Tatton will face Newcastle-under-Lyme magistrates on 7 June.
The collision took place at about 04:45 BST on the southbound carriageway at Cliffe Vale, police said.
