Cannock van crash man hanging upside down by seatbelt

A man was left hanging upside down by his seatbelt for nearly an hour after the van he was in collided with a car.

He was one of six people involved in the crash - four in the car and two in the van - at a road junction in Cannock on Thursday.

The man, who was cut free, suffered arm and chest injuries in the collision at the junction of Penkridge Bank and Broadhurst Green.

The van driver was unhurt and the four others were treated at the scene.
