A man has been charged with producing cannabis following an investigation into the sudden death of a 52-year-old.
Aleksas Malachovskis is due in court after a large number of cannabis plants were found in Wilson Street, Burslem.
Officers made the discovery while investigating the death of Arturas Eidikis, who was found dead in an alleyway in Louise Street on Thursday.
Mr Malachovskis, 28, is due before North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
He has also been charged with theft concerning the abstraction of electricity.
