Man cleared over fatal Stafford street attack

A man has been cleared of killing a man who died following a street attack in Stafford.

Carl Tindall, 35, of Brocton, Stafford, was found with serious head injuries in Cull Avenue in August and died in hospital two days later.

Jamie Sleigh, 36, from St John's Road in Cannock, was charged with manslaughter but found not guilty at Stafford Crown Court.

Three others charged with assisting an offender were also found not guilty.

The 35-year-old woman from Cannock, and a 32-year-old woman and 25-year-old man are from Stafford, were cleared.
