Dyer disqualified after speeding in Suffolk
Football player Kieron Dyer has been disqualified from driving for six months and fined more than £1,000 after being caught speeding.
The West Ham player, who started his career at Ipswich Town, was caught speeding on the A12 back in April.
At Lowestoft magistrates, in Dyer's absence, he was convicted of speeding and failing to provide information on the identity of a driver.
He was also convicted of failing to produce a driving licence.
Dyer, 31, of Coney Byes Lane, West Bergholt, Colchester, Essex, was ordered to pay £1,015 in costs.
Eleven more points were added to his licence, which already had three points on it - taking the total over 12 points and leading to his disqualification.
Dyer has been capped 30 times by England and was in the national squad for both the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004.
