John Grimwood admits murdering Alison Studd in Ipswich

A 29-year-old man has admitted murdering a woman in Ipswich.

Alison Studd, 36, of Pauline Street, Ipswich, was found with critical injuries in Withipoll Street, in the town, on 26 January.

She died later in hospital. A post-mortem examination gave blood loss from a leg wound as the cause.

John Grimwood, of Canham Street, Ipswich, pleaded guilty to murder at Ipswich Crown Court and is due to be sentenced on 8 July.
