Man charged after Suffolk street stabbing

A man has been charged following a stabbing in Suffolk.

The victim suffered stab wounds to his stomach and injuries to his arm following the incident in Gaol Lane, Sudbury, on Friday.

A 28-year-old man, from Great Cornard, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, wounding with intent and causing GBH without intent.

He was remanded in custody by Suffolk Police and is due to appear before magistrates on Monday.
